Travellemming published their annual awards honoring trending destinations on their site recently. This year’s Emerging Destination Awards 30 destinations that show a promising future for tourism in the coming decade and features “truly incredible places” which deserve the world’s tourism dollars in 2020; Georgia was selected number one of this list.
Winners were voted on by 30 of the most popular travel bloggers as the judges. The Emerging Destination Awards aim to bring local stakeholders, content creators, and travelers together to help encourage travelers to spread out and explore the world.
‘’Possibly the world’s greatest hidden travel gem’’, ‘’Georgia has SO much to offer,’’ and ‘’the most stunning landscape I’ve ever seen!’’ are just some of the raving opinions the judges gave about the winner.
