Kazbegi Day Tour with Ananuri and Gergeti Trinity Church

Travel from Tbilisi to Kazbegi in one day, with Ananuri Fortress, the Friendship Monument and a 4x4 ride up to Gergeti Trinity Church. Often called the Switzerland of the Caucasus, the region along the Georgian Military Highway pairs pristine mountain scenery with centuries of history. After a 9:00 hotel pick-up you stop at the turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir, explore Ananuri and take in the panorama at the Friendship Monument before lunch at a local restaurant. Off-road Delicas then climb to the 14th-century church beneath Mount Kazbek, and the day ends at the colourful mineral springs of Stepantsminda.
