1. What documents should we bring for our trip to Georgia?
Bring a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining, a return flight ticket, your hotel voucher and travel insurance. Before departure, check the required documents and entry conditions with the agency that issued your package.
2. How much money should we bring?
Iranian travelers must carry at least USD 100 per person for each day of their stay. For example, each traveler staying for five days must carry at least USD 500. This amount is not paid to Georgia Holiday; it is intended to cover your expenses during your stay. For an estimate of food, transportation and entertainment costs, visit the Travel Guide section of our website.
3. What is the weather like in Georgia, and what should we wear?
Weather varies by season and destination, and conditions in Tbilisi, Batumi and the mountain regions are not the same. Before traveling, check daytime and nighttime temperatures, rainfall forecasts and wind conditions on reliable weather websites, and bring suitable clothing. Bring warm clothing for mountain tours, even during the warmer months. For tours marked with a walking icon, suitable, comfortable footwear is essential.
4. Which medicines can we bring?
Georgia has strict regulations on bringing controlled medicines into the country. Before bringing any sleeping pills, sedatives, medicines containing codeine or other controlled substances, check the applicable entry requirements. If you need to take a particular medicine, contact the Embassy of Georgia in Iran before traveling for guidance on whether it is permitted and which documents or authorizations are required. The mode of transport depends on the number of passengers and the travel itinerary. For groups meeting the minimum passenger requirement, we generally use a Sprinter or coach. The mode of transport, departure time and transfer details will be communicated before your journey.

Road transfers usually take approximately six to seven hours. The journey may take longer depending on the season, traffic and stops along the route. For train journeys, departure and arrival times will be as shown on your ticket.

On company-operated transfers, each passenger may bring one suitcase weighing up to 30 kg and one cabin-sized hand bag. For train or public bus journeys, the relevant transport operator's luggage rules also apply.
